Workaround: You can still get TomTom Services by connecting the sat nav to your smartphone (Bluetooth / hotspot) following TomTom’s guide for connecting to TomTom Services. If the local 2G GSM network has been decommissioned, the built-in SIM cannot connect, so Live Services via the device’s SIM will not work in that country.
