Product Reviews

Name: Review:
I've had this rear camera installed for nearly two months now, and it's been an absolute game-changer. The ease with which it was fitted using the included tools has been impressive - I'm still impressed by how well they fit together.

Its reliability is also one of its standout features, despite being in place for some time now.

The Nextbase 522GW does seem quite well-suited to its application when attached to the back windscreen and the rear dash cam, which provides ample room for all the necessary attachments and wiring.

I found that wrapping the camera junction with cloth tape to secure it to the cable run was a bit of a challenge, but I managed to get everything hidden behind the trim with some careful planning and creative use of cord management techniques.

It's worth noting that there are often limited places to hide cables in this area, so getting as much of the system bundled up and secured is essential. As someone who's had their fair share of DIY projects, I can attest to the fact that having a good system for managing cables and keeping things tidy can make all the difference.

A particular tip that proved useful was using a bent metal coat hanger to feed the cable through the rubber between the body and hatch back - it really does make a big difference in terms of avoiding rattling sounds.
