Puncture repair kits provided by manufactures only work on minor punctures and last a very short distance. Temporary use spare wheels may be narrower than standard manufactured fitted wheels. The over all size of the wheel can also differ for example, if your vehicle is equipped with 18" alloys it is safe and compatible for a 16" wheel to be used.
